Ingredients for Peach Burrata Caprese Salad

  • Fresh peaches — fresh peaches, slightly on the firm side, work best for this recipe. The firmer peach will hold up to the wedge cut a little better.
  • Tomatoes — any variety of tomato will work for this recipe. If using a larger tomato, cut it into wedges. Smaller tomatoes, such as cherry or grape, can be left whole or cut into halves.
  • Burrata cheeseBurrata is a unique cheese that has a firm outer shell, but a creamy inside when cut into. In this salad, the Burrata, peaches, and tomato complement each other in an unexpected way.
  • Fresh basil — Basil is a classic caprese flavor, and it works well in this dish. Use a small leaves or larger leaves cut into strips.
  • Balsamic glaze and olive oil — These classic ingredients are drizzled on top of the salad to help bring the flavors together.
  • Salt and pepper — The salt and pepper help brighten the dish, and add a finishing touch.

How to make Peach Burrata Salad

It’s really easy to assemble this peach and tomato salad. First, slice the tomatoes and peaches into wedges, and arrange them in a large bowl. Then, break apart the burrata cheese into smaller pieces and place around the salad. The inside of the burrata is runny, so I like to put the firm side down and keep the runny side facing up.

Next, add the basil leaves, and drizzle balsamic glaze and olive oil on the top of the salad. Finally, sprinkle salt and pepper on the top of the salad.
